Cookie notice
What cookies and storage WeMasjid uses — it's a short list. Last updated [CHECK] October 2026.
The short version
We only use strictly necessary cookies and storage — the ones the service can't work without. There is no advertising, no analytics tracking and no third-party marketing cookies, so the law (PECR/UK GDPR) doesn't require a consent banner: we tell you here instead.
What we set
- Sign-in session — Supabase auth cookies (e.g.
sb-*-auth-token) that keep committee members signed in to admin. Essential. - Preferences — small local-storage values for things like language choice and display state. Essential to the feature.
What Stripe sets
On donation pages Stripe may set its own cookies (e.g. __stripe_mid,__stripe_sid) for fraud prevention — required to take payments securely. These are Stripe's; see stripe.com/cookies-policy.
What we don't use
- No Google Analytics or similar analytics trackers.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No social-media tracking widgets.
Control
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the auth cookie signs you out of admin; everything else keeps working. Questions: takram2@gmail.com.
